Nice enough but expensive dog fee
TownePlace Suites HattiesburgGreat location and nice hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. I do think $100 per night extra for a pet is pretty steep (especially if only staying one night while traveling) but we do what we have to do to make sure our fur babies are happy and safe.
Fantastic location and hotel
Sleep Inn StauntonPerfect location for easy on/off freeway. The front desk at check-in was easy and the clerk was kind and helpful. Nice and clean dog area. Very comfortable beds. No issues at all and would definitely stay here again if in the area.
The worst
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Stamford / New York CityThis was probably the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced in my 62 years on earth. The staff were nice but that is the only positive I can find. There was no grass area for the dogs at all (not even a tiny patch anywhere). The lights in the room didn’t work. The TV sound didn’t work. The toilet ran for half an hour after we flushed. The entryway floor in our room was so sticky and tub so dirty I would rather stay sweaty and dirty than take a shower. Bed was uncomfortable and old. 0 out of 5 dog bones.
