Great night's stay
Comfort Inn & Suites SayreI was in Pennsylvania to pick up my new beagle puppy. I brought my older dog with me so they could meet and we stayed at this hotel. The Comfort Inn was very welcoming both to me and my dog. The pet surcharge is very reasonable compared to many hotels. The staff was warm and friendly and they gave a treat to my dog at check in. The room was clean and breakfast was good. There's lots of space to walk my dog. I'd recommend this place to anyone traveling with a pet.

Not pet friendly for a solo traveler
Smithfield Ice Cream ParlorThere was plenty of outdoor seating, but no outdoor service. It wouldn't be bad if I had a partner who could have sat with my dog while one of us ordered inside, but terrible for a solo traveler. Bringing my dog inside to order was not allowed, and there was no place to safely leave her. I ended up very embarrassed when I brought her in to find out how to get food with a dog. I was loudly told no dogs allowed and told to leave. It was one of my most unpleasant solo travel with my dog experiences.
