we are active puppy parents with many pups in the family. in 2 of our households we have 3 dogs: goldendoodle, maltese and shih tzu. We seek off-leash space to interact with other pups and their owners after spending many hours to ensure best behaviour. Add an extra attraction such as equipment or water is a bonus.

an expensive disappointment

Country Canines Play Park

there are actually 3 family-owned play parks with this company. specifically. my experience is with the one in Carp.

we are active puppy parents with three dogs in two households. Grandpa's birthday, we decide to try something new. $30 we got no personal attention, not even a greeting. a large field has about 6 crudely made and poorly repaired agility ramps, weaving poles, tire tunnel, 2 half-chewed frisbees, 2 chuck-its with no ball for one and the other had a large hole in it so it did not bounce, a child's pool with dirty water, and one bowl of water at the farthest spot from the equipment. There were 2 chairs for owners to sit and enjoy watching the interactions.
we were the only ones there so we didn't even have other dogs or owners to interact with.
Assets: their gate entrance offers safe access with a double gate, and the large field is fenced well.
Not worth the price of admission or the drive to get there. we booked one hour and left after 20 minutes - so disappointing!
