My wife and I have a Bernese Mountain Dog

Friendly staff, lots of green space out back for doggie.

Great BBQ, treated dog great. Located right on historic Route 66. The only problem we had with eating on the porch were the numerous flies we had to swat away.

Very friendly staff and treated our doggie great with water right away. I had the New Mexico Pizza with green chiles. Highly
recommend if you are in Gallup. Wife had great Alredo.

Only reason we didn't give 5 stars is that they were short-staffed and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, even though the place was not full. However, once we got a table, the service and food were excellent, and everybody wanted to pet our dog. It was Homecoming for Southern Utah, but we were in town on our way to visit Bryce Canyon.

We had a gourmet Italian dinner, complete with a bottle of local wine. Our waiter was superb, and our doggie got lots of attention out on the shaded patio.

Great Texas BBQ in Amarillo at Smokey Joe's. Dog got plenty of water and we had plenty of Lone Stars !!

If your are ever in Grand island with your dog, this is the place to stop. Doggie got lots of water and attention. Food and beer was great. We sat on patio near street downtown, but there was no traffic except when Union Pacific train came through.

If you are doing a Route 66 journey, Tucumcari NM is a must stop, and Watson's is the place to go if you have your dog along. Take some photos of the Blue Swallow Motel at night if you are in town.

We had a nice meal at Westbound & Down Brewing Company. It was raining, buy we had a tent over our heads and everyone treated doggie very nice.

Kanab Utah is a nice little town that we stayed in on our way to Zion National Park. They treated our dog great, and we had a really good dinner out on the patio.

We had a great meal at Finn's in Joplin, MO, while on our Route 66 trip with our Bernese Mountain Dog Fiona. Large outdoor patio. Gourmet food, great service, and they treated Fiona like royalty !!

La Quinta is very welcoming to dogs and this one was no exception. They had a nice area reserved to walk dogs in.

Dog was accommodated fine, but room was crappy, and people were coming and going all night. My guess is drug deals.

Not a whole lot of grass for Fido, but no issues. Nice room. This is a classic Route 66 town.

Not much grass for Fido. Room was OK, there was no breakfast in morning. OK if you are on a budget.

Nice place to stay. The place looks brand new. Despite being near airport, we did not hear many planes.

A nice place to stay if on a budget. Plenty of grass for Fido. Nice view of the red rocks.

La Quinta consistently treats travelers with pets great.

A very nice old-style motel. A great bargain compared to the other high priced places in Moab. Plenty of grass for Fido.

Gallup NM is a nice small town. La Quinta is a nice place to stay and Fido had a fenced-in area to roam.

Covid restrictions were very stringent, which was fine. Nice breakfast. Doggie had only rocks to walk around on.

La Quinta Joplin has a nice interior courtyard to walk doggies. Lots of real grass, and available baggies for cleanup. Good room, too.

Rooms a little worn and out dated. Plenty of grass for Fido to roam around.
