Dog friendly, great pool, but outdated
Comfort Suites Milwaukee AirportWe stayed one night with our pup. There are great green spaces around the hotel including a dog walking area which was great. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the kids loved the pool. The room was not super clean though (dusty, sticky floors, dinged-up walks), and the place felt like it’s due for some renovations, It was very crowded, so the pool and breakfast area were packed. The main bed was super comfortable but the pull-out couch was filthy and uncomfortable.
Food was just ok, wait times were unacceptable
Linda Bean's Maine Kitchen and Topside TavernAfter driving all day we were really looking forward to eating here after reading good reviews. We waited for almost an hour for an outside table, most of which were empty the entire time we waited. They finally sat us at one of those empty tables and it took another 20 minutes to get water. The food was just ok, especially for the price- there are many places in that part of Maine with better seafood options. There was one dog bowl chained to a post, full of dirty water. Otherwise it wasn’t very dog friendly.
Great spot!
Ellicottville Brewing CompanyWe stopped here after driving all day. The wait for an outside table was about 20 minutes and well worth the wait! The staff were super friendly to us and our pooch. The food choices were great- everyone in our party of 5 was very happy with their dinner. And the beer was great. We will stop here again!
Awesome!
Dinosaur Bar-B-QueEveryone working there was super friendly and especially sweet with our pup. They brought her a fresh water bowl and treats. The food and beer options were great. The outside patio was very comfortable and fun. We will go back next time we are in Syracuse!
My new favorite!
Aloft Syracuse Inner HarborWe stopped here for one night on a road trip and it was wonderful - we will stay here again! There are dog bowls in the lobby, lots of great green space just outside the front door, and in a very safe neighborhood. It’s a super comfortable, clean, and friendly hotel. The kids wanted to stay longer, and we will definitely look for Aloft hotels in future travels. Plus no pet fee!
Friendly staff, hotel not updated
Quality Inn Falconer - JamestownThis hotel is very outdated and uncomfortable. Thankfully the front desk staff were very friendly, and it was nice to have patio doors to take the pup out to a green space across the parking lot. Unfortunately it wasn’t clean/comfortable enough for the humans in our travel group.
