Just okay
The Riverside Hotel BW Premier CollectionExpensive, room was just okay, dusty, and it was such a huge place and hard to navigate. Staff was lovely, though.

Pretty good!
Best Western Plus Des Moines West Inn & SuitesWe checked in at 3am and they had our first floor room near a door ready. Night shift Staff was delightful. Breakfast was just okay, but it was a weekday during a pandemic, so no real complaints.
Room was tight but clean.

Pretty great
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Idaho Falls/AmmonNot the newest hotel, but staff was great and we had a nice room on the first floor near the side door for the dog. The woman at the front desk was very friendly, took time to say hi to my dog, and helped us with the thermostat in our room. Overall a really good stay. Location was convenient as well. Although as noted, rooms could use some updating but it was clean and comfortable.
