Wonderful Pet Friendly Restaurant!
Casa GrandeWe called in advance to make a reservation for four and alert the host that we were traveling with a golden retriever and German Shepherd, so an outdoor table "in the back" would be optimum given the need for a bit more space than under the table would provide for the two dogs. We were delighted to see that an end table outside was reserved for us. The waiter was friendly and excellent with the dogs, the food was wonderful, and the owner even stopped by to assure our experience was top notch.
I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to any responsible pet owner!
GREAT Pet Friendly Restaurant!!!
O.H.S.O. Eatery + NanoBreweryWe were traveling through Phoenix with our golden retriever and German Shepherd and needed to find a pet friendly outdoor restaurant in 100+ degree weather -- this sounded like an impossibility but WE FOUND IT! O.H.S.O not only caters to patrons with large dogs, the ample misters and fans kept everyone cool while we enjoyed the great food and wonderful service! Pet owners were friendly and interactive, and the servers were genuinely enjoying their furry guests as part of their usual duties. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I would definitely recommend O.H.S.O to any responsible pet owners!
Extended road trip with two dogs - not the best hotel
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs South APThis was the first road trip we've taken with our golden retriever and German Shepherd, and we were concerned about their comfort and our need for a clean, smell free hotel room given the "dog friendly" conditions. Out of four La Quinta Hotels we stayed in, this was the lowest ranked in the group. The carpet was scrubbed in many spots due to prior pet accidents, and we were prepared for some of this reality. We weren't prepared for the acrid urine smell that permeated the room, however. I bought some heavy duty Febreze spray and sprayed the carpet which helped a bit. Our stay was three nights, and we were glad to leave for an odorless future hotel room. The room itself (bed/bathroom) were clean. The carpet in that room needs to be removed, however.
Road Trip with Two Dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham Grand Junction AirportThis was our first road trip with our golden retriever and German shepherd, and we were concerned about their comfort and our need for a clean, odorless room given the "dog friendly" accommodations. Although the room was carpeted, it was very clean and smell free! We were given a room at the end of the first floor hallway, which worked perfectly for everyone. Dog accommodations for grassy spaces were ample and clean. One guest traveled with her pot belly pig! Hotel employees and guests were friendly and respectful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to any responsible pet parents!
Clean room for us and our two dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham St. GeorgeThis was our first road trip with our two dogs (golden retriever and German Shepard). We were nervous about their comfort and the cleanliness of the "dog friendly" hotel room. Out of the string of five hotels we stayed in during this trip, this was the only room without carpet (which we preferred). It was CLEAN with no doggie smell, unlike some other hotels we stayed in with scrubbed, urine stained, smelly carpets.
Our only inconvenience was that a maintenance person worked outside the room in the hall for quite a while in the middle of the night, causing us to sshhhh the dogs to avoid barking. All in all, it was a positive experience and I would recommend this hotel to other responsible pet owners.
Clean room for us and our two dogs
Home2 Suites by Hilton Glendale WestgateWe did a two week road trip with our two dogs and stayed at several BringFido recommended hotels as we traveled to various locations. This hotel and our room were both very clean, staff was courteous and helpful, and complimentary breakfast was extensive in serving a variety of breakfast items. Our only issue was the unsupervised pool area following pool closing hours, as we could hear two adults who were screaming at each other at 2am for over an hour (our room was above the pool on the second floor). We managed to keep our dogs from barking through it all, but no one in our room got much rest that night!
