Great off-leash area
Dog Park at Veterans Tribute ParkThe off-leash area is a great size and typically has many other pup friends to play with. The lake walking path is a great change of scenery!

Happy pup!
The Outback at Shelby Farms ParkIt is not completely fenced off, so keep that in mind if you go. That being said- this is the most AWESOME dog park EVER! MUST SEE! There were a lot of other dogs, everyone was very friendly and our dog had an absolute ball of a time! We did too! If you have two leg kiddos there is a playground in Shelby park and it’s a must see also! Dogs welcome on leash there.

Great pet friendly hotel!
Best Western Flagship InnThis location was very dog friendly! Rooms were accessible from the outside so you didn’t have to walk through the front of the building to get to your room. The room seemed cleaner than other hotels we’ve been at and actually smelled fresh. Large pup potty area. There were a lot of other dogs also staying here, one was hanging out with owners poolside. Would recommend!

It’s a bed if you have to
La Quinta by Wyndham Canton MSThere was hair in the bathroom floor that wasn’t mine. There wasn’t a designated doggy potty area. We heard every door open and close and foot steps from upstairs the entire night, even with the AC blowing and TV on.
