Good for dogs
La Quinta by Wyndham Huntsville Airport MadisonThe hotel was clean and nice. Special area right outside the side door to use for potty stops. For us humans, a few quirky things like no stopper in the sink, a toilet low to the ground and if you are tall the shower head is very low with no ability to adjust. Only elevator that I knew of that was very small for a hotel that is not an old building.

Pleasant Stay
Aloft Nashville FranklinI am posting in all my hotel reviews that a night light located in an outlet would be a perfect touch. Since the doors are heavy, a door kick to prop the door open, would also help while bringing suitcases in the room.

5 Bones Gold Star
Hotel Indigo San Antonio Riverwalk an IHG HotelI loved this hotel. You do have to pay for parking with valet or not but, valet service was the best. All the employees were so friendly and helpful! Loved the style, location and views! So happy I spent a little extra for the balcony, favorite spot even for my dog. Very pet friendly and they even offer a small grass area off of the back patio to take your pet at night. I ask all pet owners please clean up after your pets, since the space is a small one. The hotel offers the pet area without having to leave the hotel but, I don’t think we should expect them to clean it up or cause other hotel guests to walk in the messes made by your dog while trying to use the grass area for their pet. A suggestion for the hotel, a built in night light in an outlet would be great and a kick stand for the door would be very helpful.

Pleasantly Surprised
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Van Horn an IHG HotelThe hotel was a pleasant stay for our first stop on a long road trip. It was nice having a side door exit to take the dog outside, rather than walking through the Lobby all the time. I am writing on all my reviews that it would be nice for more hotels to add night lights into the outlets. I came across that at one Holiday Inn and it was so nice.

Nice Hotel
Holiday Inn El Paso West - Sunland Park an IHG HotelI was pleasantly surprised when walking into the main lobby how nice the hotel looked. The rooms were nice as well. Loved the night light was built into the outlet near the vanity/sink. The construction made the entrance a challenge to see at night and I believe there was only one entrance and exit at the time. A little strange with walkways and paths to enter hotel rooms for handicap people, I had my mother with me and she has a walker, she had to walk away from the section our room was into use a ramp. Small steps are all around but, with suitcases and a dog in tow the ramps are easier for everyone.

Exceptional!
The Seelbach Hilton LouisvilleThe Seelbach is a treasure. The old feel is warm and enchanting. The employees were so friendly and accommodating. Some areas of the hotel like elevators and rooms are small but, I found that to be art of the charm. The parking in the back was easy and so close to the back entrance if you prefer not to valet park the car.
