Worst Experience Ever

This hotel is terrible. We booked a room for 2 nights due to Hurricane Ida. First off, they did not have our reservation made through BringFIdo. Fortunately I had the confirmation from your site. They acted aggravated that I proved I had the reservation. The room was mediocre at best. Our dog wanted to go out with me every time I went to the door. This was very unusual. When staying in the room he became somewhat lethargic (except when I would go to the door). As I passed the cleaning crews' cart in the hall, I notice there were at least 10 bottles of cleaning fluids and other cleaning supplies. I took him out in the rain and wind every 2 hours and he was fine while outside the room; therefore, I believe these cleaning fluid chemicals were the cause of him wanting to leave the room every time I went to the door. We decided to checkout after only 1 night as the storm appeared to be subsiding. We knew we would get charged for the second night; however, upon check out they charged us $40 for a pet fee. When they gave me the receipt, it plainly stated in their pet policy that the fee was $15 a night. I pointed this out and they stated that I must have had 2 dogs, which does no make sense as the fee would have been $60 for the 2 nights. I finally convinced them that We had only one dog I told them I understood that we would be charged for the second night, but requested that they refund the dog fee for the second night as we were not going to be there. They refused. During the whole conversation they were rude and accusatory. Unfortunately, their hotel was the only one with a vacancy within a 75 mile radius from our house. I believe they didn't like the booking from BringFido as they were getting a lot more money for their room due to the Hurricane. I HIGHLY recommend you remove this hotel from your website. We travel a lot and have always had a good experience with your company and our accommodations, but this place was the worst. Rude and obnoxious management is unacceptable.
