Stole my dog’s anxiety medication

I came to Hika for over two years and it’s unfortunate that I have to write this review. My dog has terrible anxiety and takes Xanax for it, I dropped him off for two nights over Labor Day weekend with a completely full bottle as I had just had it filled and threw it in the bag. When I picked him up her worker Sylvia “forgot” to put his medication back in his bag. The next day when I returned to pick up the medication, the bottle was completely empty and had been filled with different small white pills, NOT his meds! I confronted her and she said she didn’t know what happened. Hika said she gave my dog his normal medicine the morning previous and the bottle was full. I asked Hika to take disciplinary action against the employee and she basically told me no it’s not her problem. She said there was nothing she could do and that she doesn’t know what to tell me. I had to have my vet call in another Rx as it’s a controlled substance, I called Hika and asked if she would please pay for the Rx and she initially said NO and I had to argue with her to get her to reimburse me. I have since filed a police report for the stolen medication. I WOULD NOT recommend this place and if your dog takes medication I would not trust that they are actually getting it, especially if it’s an anxiety medication.
