Large sodded yard
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham TrinidadThis motel was clean and accommodating. They gave us a main floor room, like it that we didn't have to negotiate stairs with a dog.
There is a large yard separated from the parking lot by two wings of rooms. They provided dog waste disposal bags and receptacle. I wouldn't let my pup off the leash, though, as one side of the yard had a rather steep drop off.

Texas Gold LodgesAfter traveling the barren land of west Texas/ New Mexico... Texas Gold's nicely sodded area was like a delicacy for dogs' business transactions. It was a small area, but just beyond the parking lot was a larger sodded area perfect for a longer run.
The free standing cabins are plain and unpretentious (these typically rent to oil patch workers). But they are clean and practical. Being detached units is beneficial as the dog didn't bark every time the folks next door bumped a wall or flushed a toilet.

100% Dog Friendly
No Label Brewing Co.No Label is comprised of a couple open metal buildings (not air conditioned), a long covered patio with fans/heaters, and a broad open concrete (former parking lot) area. Dogs (on leash) are allowed throughout. We sit inside under the "Big Ass Fan" at picnic tables and watch sports on TV, often they have live music, food trucks, and a variety of events.
They have dog bowls on loan at the bar. The High top tables have "purse hooks" which work well for tethering a leash.
For when the call of nature must be answered, there is plenty of grassy area out back in the field that doubles as parking lot.
Occasionally you'll hear a rumble of vocal dogs "greeting" another dog, but for the most part, it's like heaven!
(It is also KID FRIENDLY too, nice mulch ed play area with wooden play set and slides.)

Accommodating!
Love Creek OrchardsI would be difficult to dine here alone with a dog, as the meals are ordered at the counter inside (thus 4/5 stars) although they are brought out to the table when ready. Also, we had pay inside the store,, so best have someone to stay with the dogs while the other runs in..
They have picnic tables out front under a huge oak tree. A side lot is perfect for exercising your dog and it was easy to tie the leash to the picnic table. When asked, they gave me a plastic bowl that had been labeled "water for doggies". There was a spigot outside (and a bowl near it, too).
Our dogs were greeted cheerfully. The meal was very good. The only downside was we were pestered by flies and bees. They had basil on the table to deter the flies, it seemed to help. I don't mind a honey bee, but one looked like a yellow Jacket. We asked for go boxes and took our meal to our car.
Be sure to check out the baked goods in the store.... WONDERFUL!
