Seems lovely
Higgins Dog ParkSeems like a decent dog park. Covered in snow when we stopped but the locals were super friendly and the other dogs were very courteous.
Hidden Gem
Pepper's Dog ParkThis dog park is lovely. Located close to the highway if you are traveling and easy to find. Separate areas for big and small dogs. Clean up stations and water provided as well. We have stopped here a couple times in the last few years when traveling with our dogs.
We do find that the locals tend to be pretty lax with their dogs and have to monitor closely that ours do not get agitated by the pestering.
Clean, Quiet, and Friendly
Sleep Inn & Suites Bismarck I-94Staff was super welcoming and made sure we were happy with our stay and our room. It was clean, quiet, and they placed us close to the door to go out to the potty area. Also gave us a goodie bag with treats.
No complaints
AmericInn by Wyndham Fergus Falls - Conference CenterRoom was clean and they had a king which is a must with a Great Dane, but it was kind of noisy. Also even though it was close to what would have been the potty area, due to snow and ice, it was inaccessible so we had to walk across the parking lot to the ditch by the road. I am sure in warmer months it is probably just fine.
Welcoming home away from home
Candlewood Suites Fort Collins an IHG HotelWe stayed here while seeking cancer treatments for our dog. Staff was warm and welcoming, very sympathetic with what we were going through and worked to accommodate extra days when treatments ran long. Only downside was they put us on an upper floor which made it hard to take the dogs outside to potty at times.
Superb Service
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fargo-Medical CenterWe love staying here when we travel with dogs. The staff is always super friendly and has treats waiting for our pups when we come in. They have always given us a nice big room close to an exit to make potty breaks easier as well.
