Worked for us!
Waveriders Coffee & DeliSuperb coffee. The breakfast sandwiches were good. No long waits. Plenty of room inside if you don't bring your dog and plenty of room outside for the puppers. We sat in the shade. There are dog water bowls in the shopping center just down the sidewalk. Friendly staff.

Great find!
Mason's Grill & SmokehouseWe stopped at Mason's on the way home from our stay at the OBX. It is just off of 460 in Suffolk - very convenient to the highway. There was a large outdoor seating area for us and the our dog, Sadie. At least 4 different staff members checked on us during our meal. The food was great - I had a big, juicy burger with sweet potato fries and my mister had a brisket sandwich with thick slices of beef. Since we were traveling we opted for sodas instead of beer, but it looked like a good selection. The staff brought Sadie a water bowl immediately and a couple of them got roped into petting her (she's kinda bossy when it comes to getting pets). I would definitely go back here again.
