Walk to Restaurants
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Amarillo I-40 West TXThe last thing I want to do after traveling all day is get back in the car and drive to a restaurant. We walked to Red Robin. There are several others nearby. Everyone does takeout these days.

Not pet (or people) friendly
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the GodsSketchy neighborhood with no real place for your dog to walk or relieve itself. Garbage in the parking lot, in the courtyard, and the stairwells. Colorado Springs is a great city for pets. Keep looking for better accommodations.

Great place to stay in Fredericksburg
Best Western Plus FredericksburgFriendly staff welcoming us and our dog Lily. Also Fredericksburg has a great dog park at their Lady Bird Johnson city park.

Not Recommended
Ambassy MotelWe will not use the Ambassy motel again. It is in a state of disrepair. Noisy A/C, bad room odor, no blanket, and many neglected maintenance items. I'm afraid the Ambassy is not long for the motel world.

Red Roof Inn SyracuseRRI met our overnight needs. Bonus - great Italian restaurant next door does takeout.
