POOR SERVICE

Best Western Plus Corning Inn

We arrived at 8 pm after 12 hours of driving. It took the front desk employee 45 minutes to figure out that we had already paid Bring Fido for the room. The newer employee at the front desk was not trained how to process our reservation and told us we needed to pay again. I showed him the confirmation email on my phone that we had paid for the room on our credit card. The desk employee was totally confused and ended up calling his night manager who was at home. We stood in the lobby while the desk called his manager several times.

The night manager told us it was our responsibility to call BringFido and resolve this. We felt the manager should call BringFido but we ended up calling ourselves and BringFido was great and stayed on the phone with us the whole time trying to help the desk understand. The manager and the front desk never apologized for the poor way they handled the situation or for the 45 minutes we stood in an empty lobby trying to get into our already paid for room.
