Great hotel
Hotel Encanto de Las CrucesLoved the atmosphere and decor of the hotel. My only complaint was that after a long day of traveling we arrived at 9:00 pm on a Friday and the bar and restaurant were closed. And we were hungry and thirsty but we’re too tired to walk or drive to another place to eat.

Treated like the ugly step child
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Abilene NortheastI reserved a king non smoking. Was told at check in that a walk-in needed a king so they gave my room to them! Since I booked through a third party my pre-paid reservation apparently didn’t have priority. She gave us kind of a scowl when she saw our two miniature schnauzers. Also, the restaurant and bar were closed for the day/night so we were on our own; which after a nine hour drive was not convenient. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location
Hyatt Place Houston / the WoodlandsNice hotel and friendly staff. Was conveniently located to restaurants and most importantly to family we were visiting. Has a nice gym and pool. Great breakfast and cocktail bar. I will stay here again.
