Location and comfort!

Loved our stay at Andaz! Easy access to restaurants, shopping, River Street and green spaces. Enjoyed the casual nature of the hotel lobby and bar area where pups can relax by your side. The only reason we rated four not five stars - the dog friendly rooms are carpeted, and pre-soiled. Ours was not clean and hadn't been shampooed after other four-legged travelers, which I understand is the reason for the $150 pet fee. This makes for an unsanitary feeling. With that level of pet fee, I want be be assured that the carpet is freshly cleaned prior to my stay. Some other pet friendly hotels of this quality in the area have vinyl flooring and an area rug by the bed in the pet friendly rooms which makes much more sense. Everything else was spot on wonderful!
