Your very basic hotel

Stayed overnight while passing through on our way to Phoenix. This is a very basic hotel which is a bit outdated. Staff was friendly and I must say I got 1st floor room (119) as requested. However, there were problems with the heater/thermostat not working properly. At first it was blowing hot air no matter what the temp. Then it would blow cold air and put a chill in the air. And the heater ran (noisily) for hours! After several hours of trying to regulate the temp we asked to be moved to another room. There was no offer of assistance to figure out what the thermostat problem was.

Property is gated so no access to nearby streets/hotel lots to walk the dog. We had to settle with multiple trips around the building. With so many hotels in this area we will not be back. Not a terrible stay but certainly not as pleasant as wished after a long day on the road. BTW Dickey’s BBQ is right next door; delicious food. But once again you’ll need to drive there due to the gating or risk getting hit when walking on the busy road.

Nice hotel

Nice, comfortable hotel right off I-70. Staff were all very friendly. Room was ample size for us and our dog. Comfortable bed! Had a 1st floor room which was convenient for walking the dog. Note: this hotel has 2 stories and NO elevator. Nice HH each night with a couple free drinks. Popcorn, no food. Breakfast looked to be good but I settled for my norm yogurt and coffee.

The parking lot was not lit very well and the building was painted a darker color which made it seem dingy. The overall area for dog walking was satisfactory (walking to other hotel lot areas) but there was litter all over the place! Endeavor could do a better job in keeping their direct areas cleaned and litter free. Hooters is within walking distance and the food was very good. It was a pleasant experience.

Nice fenced-in Dog Park on facility

This was our 2nd time stopping for gas and giving our pup a break at this spot. Fairly good-sized fenced in area to let your dog run and chase for a bit. Both times he was the only dog so plenty of room. Area was fairly clean (I just don’t understand why ALL people don’t pick up after their dog) with poop bags and trash. Benches for humans as well.
I would recommend this spot to let your dog stretch his legs🐾.
