Horrific Experience

Did not stay here. After driving 18 straight hours I was left standing in the lobby with all my luggage, kid, dog and truck with trailer blocking front entrance while only attendant attempted to call Expedia for their credit card re-authorization. As the line of check-ins grew behind me, with no additional help at the counter or offer to simply call Expedia later after I had been given my room keys, I became irritated, I asked if I could just pay with another card so I could unpack and get some sleep. Was told no, I had paid Expedia, and now the hotel needed to get paid by them but their card was denied. Bizarre. Have never had this happen before.

I stormed out with luggage and dog/kid in tow to move my vehicle as we were pushing 20 to 30 min on check in at this point. My exhaustion turned into rage and I let the attendant have it upon returning to get my ID and incidental credit card back from her. She excitedly exclaimed she had my room key ready and had removed the dog fee to make up for the inconvenience. I asked her if Expedia had ever NOT paid her hotel? Had they ever been stiffed with a reservation fee from a guest of BringFido before. She said they had not. I screamed then, why not give me my key, let me go upstairs and go to bed while you whittle away the remaining hours of the night in Willcox Arizona on the phone with Expedia for payment!

How about noticing the sighs of anguish or the bloodshot eyes of weary travelers and issue the damn key cards! She asked if I was taking the room or not and I told her I will never stay here. She said I will not receive a refund since I was canceling on the night of the stay. I told her to choke on the $140 and tell her manager to shove my reservation up his rear. I was now angry enough to drive to Tucson and have a delightful stay at the Hampton Inn. Pleasantly drama free and welcomed my puppy with a treat instead of the smell of marijuana in the lobby. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here.

Clean room, friendly staff. Great spread for breakfast and comfortable beds. Will definitely stay here again.

Good hotel for dogs

Someone smoked in the room, non smoking signs everywhere and not the hotel's fault. Clean room, friendly staff, dog run. Would stay here again.
