Perfect pet-friendly getaway!

This is a wonderful resort to take your dog to. There are no breed/size restrictions that I’m aware of (I have a 50 lb. pit mix and they welcomed her with open arms and a goodie basket). Well behaved dogs can be left in the room alone, which is perfect when you want to enjoy the restaurants, pool area, hot tub or spa. But dogs certainly don’t have to stay in the room the whole time - there are plenty of beautiful spaces and trails to walk your dog. There’s also a small beach area with loungers that’s pet friendly, an outdoor game area and a lower level portion of one restaurant (Gaby’s by the lake) with dog-friendly seating (right on the water so still a nice view). Lastly, we stayed in a room with a balcony, but you can request a ground floor room so you literally open your room door to a grassy area for potty time. My dog loved our vacation as much as we did. Highly recommend this resort! Five stars all the way.
