Great Hotel
La Quinta by Wyndham Terre HauteHotel was clean and updated. Good location for restaurants and access to highway.
Rooms OK
Super 8 by Wyndham RollaStaff was friendly and the room was ok, but there was very little space to let my dog relieve herself or get any walking done. So if traveling without a dog it’s ok, but I would keep looking if you have a pet.
Welcoming Staff
Extended Stay America Suites Bloomington NormalThe front desk staff and housekeeping supervisor were very friendly, which goes a long way.
Just What You Expect

Very Nice Comfort Inn
Comfort Inn & Suites Bryant - BentonKudos to the management of this hotel!! The rooms, hotel and grounds were well maintained and clean. Staff was courteous and friendly and there was accessible space that was well lit to take your dog which also was clean. Good job!! I would love it if you could rely this being the standard to expect at hotels.
Attractive but Missed Many Details
The Beeman HotelThis hotel is attractive and I'm a fan of the non-carpeted rooms. But although attention was given to decoration, there were so many details that travelers expect that aren't there. First, the internet was completely unreliable. I would connect and within minutes the connection had failed. Secondly, the desk area is the only place to charge or connect anything electrical unless you move furniture and unplug a lamp. And probably most frustrating, the hotel has many maintenance issues. I booked for three nights, and the first morning I woke to the toilet covered in water (thankfully the toilet lid was down) and water on the bathroom floor. It wasn't plugged, it's like it "burped". This happened twice and the hotel was at a loss so they gave me another room. The second night my room had no heat (temperatures in Dallas that night was 34 degrees and the thermostat read 63.) So at 10:00 pm their solution was for me to pack up again and move to another room. The front desk staff is polite but casual about taking care of problems which comes off as part of the daily routine. And as others have said, you have to walk to the other side of an adjacent building to get to any grass.
Glad to leave
Comfort Inn Nashville WestThere is a VERY limited area to walk your dog and what is there, is littered with trash and excrement. The hotel is small with narrow hallways and not clean. Staff was mostly friendly, but I won’t stay there again and the experience made me search for an alternative hotel for the next leg of my trip.
