Great rooms, poor management

On our first evening, everything was fine. The second day in the morning power went out and the fire alarm was activated so we had to run with our dog to the car for less than an hour. I understand this is not the hotel's fault, as they were fixing the electricity outside and it seems it was the whole block. The third day in the afternoon the fire alarm went off again in the afternoon, just as we came back to the hotel. Thank GOD this did not happen with the dog being alone in the room, I can only imagine her little heart being so scared. The people next door to our room were smoking weed when the doors had stickers of being 100% smoke-free rooms. I just don't get it. The hotel should walk the premises to take a look at these things, thankfully we did not get the smell in our room as we came in and out real fast.

Also, there was a lady outside with two big dogs. I saw them attack a pup that came out of the hotel. My fiance was walking our Chihuahua when that happened and I circled outside in the car just making sure they were fine and guiding them in the opposite direction of the lady and her two big dogs that she could not control. I would advise dog parents to get a camera from Amazon to keep their pups supervised in case they have to stay alone at the hotel for a couple of hours. We connected ours to the hotel's network and kept an eye on her. Mine also tells you if it hears any fire alarms.
