Very nice hotel
Leonardo Hotel Frankfurt City SouthWe stayed one night with our 50 lb Lab mix. Location is not too far from the Frankfurt airport. It located in a wooded area. No pet relief area that we could find. But plenty of wooded spots. Rooms are nice and clean. Overall a nice place to stay.

Location was ok but unclear pet policy
Rodeway Inn Joint Base Andrews AreaThe staff were nice but the pet policy was a bit unclear. We were told that it was a pet friendly hotel, but signs all over the hotel said otherwise. Signs on the floor we were on and in the elevator read, "This hotel/ area is Pet and Smoke free" or "no pets allowed". Maybe we were placed in a pet free area by mistake but we did tell the front desk we had a dog at check in. The room was clean on first glance but we started noticing things wrong after about an hour or two. Also we booked a smoke-free room but the hallway and room we stayed in reeked of smoke. There are grassy areas around the hotel but no designated pet relief area that we could see. If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel near Joint Base Andrews, I would suggest skipping this one.

Staff were wonderful and room was great
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Alexandria Fort BelvoirTruly a 10 out of 10! We just moved to the area and need to stay in a hotel with our 50lb lab mix while apartment hunting and this place took the cake. The staff were wonderful, helpful and very kind. We were able to extend our reservation easily. The room was nice and spacious. They had a nice little grass pet relief area. If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel in the area, this is the place to go!
