Great overall Park, not do great fenced dog park area
Gulf State Parkthe park itself for camping, biking, walking is great. dogs must be leashed 6ft max. so the only off leash area is a fenced dog area by the creek. There are tons of sand spurs and gator and snake warnings. my dog doesn’t like the water, so the warnings were not a factor for us, but the sand spurs were a mess to get out of his paws and legs. Luckily he did not lay down in any sand spurs.
