Never made it past the front desk

Two months ago my wife and I had a coversation with an office staff about doing a couple procedures on our two cats. We had them on speaker phone becaise we had so many questions for them and wanted to make sure we understood everything. We were satisfied with all the answers they provided and set up an appointment. We settled on a date and a price for what we were going to have done. The office is about an hour and a half away but they fitted our budget and we had 2 months time to save. We arrive at 7 in the morning for a 730 appointment. When they opened the doors we went in the office and talked to the person behind the desk. She gave us a paper that had an additional cost on it for blood work. I asked what my end cost would be with this extra? She looked at her associate and the associate said a number that was three times as much as we were qouted over the phone. When I told them that was not what I was told when we made the appointment they laughed and said no body here ever told you that price. Did they think I went through all of this, getting up at 5 in the morning to be there at 7, taking a day off of work to bring my cats in just to negotiate a price. Be careful of this place. Get your quotes In writing. They seem to have amnesia. Thanks for wasting our time.
