Overall Great Stay

Staypineapple Hotel Z exceeded my expectations. It's incredibly pet friendly and right at check-in, the staff made sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. They provided dog bowls, treats, and even offered a dog bed, in case we needed. In particular, I appreciated the flexibility of being able to leave my dog unattended for a brief period, while I got dinner in the area. Not every hotel allows this. Because of its location right in the Gaslamp District, it can be noisy at night and the closest green area is a few blocks away near Petco Park. Parking is also in a public structure a block north of the hotel. None of these took away from the overall experience.
