    Best Dog Park Ever!

This park is, in my mind, tied with the dog park in Macon GA for best dog park ever. We stopped in on our drive up I-95 and our enormous pup had a blast. Beautifully cared for park with an aerated pond (!) so water is not stagnant, tons of well-behaved dogs, all of whom were both rambunctious and lovely.
Lots of agility equipment, poop bags and enough variety to keep a pup engaged, stimulated and really happy!

    Good Time

Dog parks should be modeled after this one. The hot water didn’t work in the tubs.

    nice park for dogs

fenced in, off leash play, water stations, a pond to play in. Separate area for large and small dogs. Has washing station to rinse off or wash your dogs. Lots of poop bag stations. Great place to take your dog to play.

    Fantastic Dog Park

This address is wrong. Use their website for address and directions-500 Veterans Memorial Parkway.
Wonderful park with plenty of room to run and play and a big pond. Also has a dog washing station. People and dogs were friendly! Oh and it was clean. Be sure to leave a donation in their box .

    Open to Everyone & Travelers

Had a difficult time finding the location with the listed address. Glad I finally found it. One of the best dog parks while on my travels! However it is a long walk from the parking lot to the entrance. Separate lg & small area. Has waste bags & drinking water for the pups. A nice ramp to shower your pooch at waist level too. Scattered benches, some shade. Decent size pond for the splashing pup. Lg dog play area has a few agility obstacles. Really nice people! The bathroom within the park is a hike away from dog play area. I posted a few pics below

    Best Dog Park

Best dog park in the area. They are constantly adding improvements (like the pavilion and cleaning station) and cleaning up the park. The pond is great for the dogs to swim in - bring shampoo and a towel though! Swimming not recommended in the hotter months due to algae but there is a small dog side also available to use. Our favorite park!

    evacuated pent up energy

We evacuated Wilmington due to hurricane Florence and after a few days in the hotel our dogs needed this place. There were a few dogs in the large area and since one of ours was being a feisty brat we used the small dog area since no one was in there plus we didn’t want our dogs in the pond. There was water and a few balls left behind to entertain our pups. It was shady enough to stay out of the heat too!

    Decent

This park is decent. There is a giant muddy pond in the middle of the large dog park that harbors mosquitoes and bugs. The temptation makes the dogs want to drink from it, which could give them who knows what. Also, the dogs will run and play through it.. which is not fun if you want to make this a regular thing and not have to give your large dog a bath every single time. I wish the pond was fenced off. This park doesn't seem to be very popular either.. so it stinks whenever I visit in the hopes of letting my dog play with another dog and we are alone at the park.

    GREAT FEATURES

My dog loves the pond that the Bark Park has and it allows for her to easily cool off on hot days. She also loves the agility obstacles at the park because it offers her to do more than just simply playing fetch. Great dog owners too, very friendly

    good park

After finally finding the dog park, because we are new in town and the address in inaccurate, the park is great. Good area for dogs to run.

Downfall is that it looks like someone forgot to maintain the bark park. Grass is tall, piles of dirt, benches dirty, etc.
