Kolomoki Mounds State Park
Kolomoki Mounds State Park's significance arises from the large temple mounds inhabited by Indians from 350 to 750 A.D. Numerous outdoor activities are available at this pet-friendly park in Blakely, GA. Fido will enjoy choosing from 3 trails that offer 5 miles of hiking opportunities. The park welcomes dogs as long as they are on a leash no longer than 6 feet; however, they are not permitted in or around historic sites, lodges, group camps, or swimming areas. Dog-friendly camping options are also available.

Dogs aren't allowed in buildings which kinda takes away from the experience. Hiking trails weren't well marked and overgrown. No trash cans or poop bags. There are some trail option though and still unique park to see the mounds.
