- JoyAug 4, 2022Impressive!
Very welcoming to our dog who loved the beautifully kept grounds. Our Max also enjoyed seeing the animals, as did we! Great spot to enjoy with your pet.

Dog are allowed throughout the whole facility except three exhibits. Food was reasonably priced and decent, even gave us free ice water for our dog.
- BritneyJun 20, 2022Very welcoming.
when I walked in with my dog, they just treated my dog and I like we were regular customers. They did not immediately tell us the rules for the dogs. They greeted us, welcomed us and just gave me a card of where my dog was not allowed to go. That was the very first time I’ve taken him into an event center without being question about his behavior and what not! would bring my dog K9 Riki back once again.

we were able to take jango almost everywhere! he wasnt allowed inside the bird enclosure or the tortoise park but he sure loved to smell all the plants! his favorite was the prarie dogs!! he even was allowed to shop in the gift shop
we will be back! - IanSep 22, 2019Good attraction; not hugely interesting for dogs
They certainly welcome dogs, although there are rules about keeping distance from the reptiles and you can only see the shows from a distance. The snakes and smaller reptiles are all in glass cages, and without any smell or much movement, my dog didn’t seem that interested. He liked watching the prairie dogs, was afraid of the alligators, and mildly interested in the tortoises. If you want to go anyway, it is great that your dog can tag along too, but I didn’t think the dog got that much out of it.

Very welcoming to pets. The only thing they are not allowed to partake in is the bird show, everything else they are welcomed as long as they are leashed.

This is one of the oldest attractions in the Black Hills. One visit and you can get a return pass for the rest of your stay in the area without additional cost and they allow dogs in with you. There is an excellent staff. We were the only ones with dogs and all the employees were petting them and even gave us a bowl of water since it was summer time and temps were in the high 90s. Our dogs were thrilled to be included and seemed to have a great time with the rest of the family.
