Golden Gate National Recreation Area
Golden Gate National Recreation Area is a dog-friendly national park in Mill Valley, CA. The park consists of over 81,000 acres filled with a variety of flora and fauna. Leashed dogs are welcome to join you on trails in Marin County, San Francisco County, and San Mateo County. Some of the trails allow dogs that are under voice control. Please note that dogs are not allowed in public buildings, Muir Woods, Alcatraz Island, shuttle buses, public fishing piers, and campgrounds.
