Benton MacKaye Trailhead
The Benton MacKaye Trail is an almost 300-mile-long pet-friendly trail that winds through Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina. Along the way, hikers on the BMT can explore varied trails that feature ridgeline views, mountain stream crossings, abundant wildflowers and more in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Leashed dogs are welcome on a number of BMTA dog-friendly hikes.
