No need to look for the Bear necessities, he’s right here at Tulsa SPCA in Oklahoma. Evacuated from a Louisiana animal shelter just before Hurricane Ida hit, this lovable pup is ready to find his forever family in the Sooner State. He’s a chill guy with a big head and an even bigger heart, who loves nothing more than a cuddle on the couch.

Take Bear to the woods and enjoy a walk through nearby Mohawk Park together.

If you want to give Bear a hug, set up a meet and greet here. Adoption fees are $100.

Tulsa SPCA is one of the many shelters around the country that has stepped up to help animals from regions hit by Hurricane Ida. With a history stretching back over 100 years, their mission is to improve the lives of dogs and cats, and their human companions.

It’s time to meet your match at the Arizona Humane Society Campus for Compassion. Cora is an adorable Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound Mix who needs a calm home because she can be shy. This sweet five-year-old only has one eye, but this doesn’t stop her being playful with the people she loves.

Take your new dog up to Dobbins Lookout for valley views at South Mountain Park and Preserve.

Cora is waiting to join your pack. Information on how to bring her home can be found here. Adoption fees are $135.

The Arizona Humane Society is an ethical no-kill shelter. Since 1957, they’ve been trying to give every pet who walks in the door a better chance at a good life. In addition to rehoming animals, the shelter runs a number of rewarding programs that save thousands of lives each year.

Otto is a big lovebug who’s been on a weight loss mission. After his old family lost their home, the Kentucky Humane Society took him in. When he arrived, he weighed over 100 pounds and needed to lose some of it to return to health. Now, he’s sitting pretty at 80 pounds and ready to find a new home where he can run around in circles and sunbathe all day.

Stay fit with Fido with a walk around Brown Park, known for its stunning display of seasonal colors during fall.

Give Otto his forever home here. Adoption fees are $200.

The Kentucky Humane Society is the largest pet adoption agency in the Bluegrass State and a champion for companion animals. In addition to saving and rehabilitating animals, they run a program called the Mod Squad for animals in need, like Otto. This initiative aims to improve the behavior of dogs in need, readying them for adoption.
