Attend any of the dog shows, agility competitions, costume parades, festivals or fundraisers on our Dog Events Calendar and you’ll meet, hundreds maybe even thousands, of dog lovers. And since 70% of the events listed benefit humane societies, attending one is a great way to help homeless pets too.

Day of the Dog Vancouver Bring Fido to this fun-filled social event for pets and their people in Yaletown! Entertainment will include a superhero themed photo booth, a scavenger hunt, a pool party for dogs, and yoga with adoptable puppies! Lindisfarne Festival This event promises a hedonistic escape with vibrant entertainment across eight stages, set against the backdrop of Holy Island, boasting a diverse lineup of acts spanning various genres. Cause For Paws Cruise on in with Fido, the family, and your classic car to one of the 21 showrooms at this annual fundraising event! There will be coffee, pastries, and special awards given out for Best In Show. All makes and models are welcome with plenty of parking available. St. John Bosco Labor Day 5K Bring Fido out to get some exercise at this fun Labor Day event! All ages and fitness levels are welcome. With 10 stages, you can watch performances like jousting knights, live-flight birds of prey, armored combat, circus-style performances, comedy, music, magic, and more. Dog Day at White Birch Bay Bring Fido to enjoy a splash at the local aquatic center with other water-loving canines! All dogs must be recently bathed and provide proof of a current DHLLP and rabies vaccine at the door. Pups must also wear an ID tag at all times and always be accompanied by an adult human. Drool at the Pool Fido's invited to take a dip in the pool as it closes for the season! Owners must provide current vaccine records for each dog (valid through event date). Humans are free and are welcome to wade, knee-deep, but no swimming is allowed. There will be two time slots: 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM or 6:45 PM until 8:15 PM. Limited walk-ins will be available. Dog Splash Bring your pup or pups out to enjoy an end-of-summer swim in any of the three pools. All dogs in attendance must bring proof of current Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations. Please note that there's a limit of three dogs per handler, and all handlers must be at least 18 years of age. See Details
Yappy Hour Well-behaved, leashed pups are invited to join their owners at this event, where you can enjoy a bite to eat, sip on a drink, and partake in a raffle as you socialize with two and four-legged friends. All proceeds will benefit MarrVelous Pet Rescues & Adoptions. See Details
