Great Vacation with Dog Kids
Aloft Asheville DowntownThis hotel is super dog friendly. Dogs of all sizes were hanging out in the lobby, the lounge, and meeting one another coming and going. Staff is friendly to fur friends and most people there seem like dog folks. The ONLY criticism at all would be that it's pretty far to a patch of grass. You see lots of accidents in the parking garage and front sidewalk. That is not the hotel's fault - it's just that Asheville downtown doesn't have much grass. Not even around trees.

Not such a great place
Holiday Inn Express Columbia an IHG HotelThis hotel was just okay. The room was not super clean and just adequate. VERY noisy and we got very little sleep. We only stayed here because it was the only pet friendly hotel in the area and we had business in nearby Hohenwald. Didn't see any other pets in the hotel and it was limited for places to walk them.
