Door county dog resort

We stayed here over labor day weekend 2019. The staff was very friendly. There was a nice welcome basket of things for our dog when we got to our room. There is plenty of grass space to take your dog outside. There is an amazing beautiful view from the room of the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

A post office themed breakfast

We dined here in early September 2019 for breakfast. There is a beautiful view of the lake from their patio and it was nice and peaceful in the morning. They didn't do anything for our dog but that's okay because I always have food and water with me for our dog. Our food was good and our server was nice.

Starting the Day

We dined here for breakfast in late August 2019. The food was good. They brought out a bowl of water for our dog but the service overall was just okay. The outside seating is in a grass area on the side of the building. There is no shade or umbrellas so I would only go for breakfast or dinner to avoid the hot midday sun.

Movie night with you dog

We visited here in late August 2019. It was amazing to be able to take our dog with us to see a movie. They can walk around outside the car if on leash. They have a stand with snacks. It was so fun to do as a family.

A nice Door county dinner

We dined here for dinner at the end of August 2019. They have a nice shaded patio. They didn't bring a water bowl out for our dog but that's okay because she wouldn't have drank it. The food and service was very good.

Burger Stop

We ate here mid-August 2019. They have seating outside on the front patio. This was our 2nd time taking our dog here. There burgers are very yummy. This is a good place to go if you want a night off from cooking and don't want to leave your dog at home. You have to order inside without your dog then they will bring your food out for you. They don't have water bowls or a dog menu.

A summer lunch w/ your dog

We had lunch here in early August 2019. They have a nice large shaded patio out back that allows dogs. They had a special dog menu. Our Frenchie loved her peanut butter ice cream. Our food was good too. The service was a bit on the slow side but we would still go back.

Out on the Bay

We did the Peninsula park and Eagle bluff lighthouse tour in early September 2019. The crew was very nice to our dog. The breeze from the cruise kept us cool enough. It was very interesting to hear the history of the area.

Breakfast Time

We dined here for breakfast in early September 2019. They have an outdoor patio you can eat at with your dog. We had to ask to sit out there because no one was that early in the morning. The food was very good. The service was okay. They don't do anything for the dogs, but overall we would go back.

Fun Lunch Stop

We dined here for lunch in late August 2019. The food was very good and they have doggie ice cream cones for the dogs. There are a number of umbrella shaded tables. After ordering our food at the stand it came out very quickly.

Mexican Dinner

We dined here at the end of August 2019. There is a nice outdoor patio to dine at with your dog. The service was very good, they were friendly with our dog and quick &attentive with us. They have a special dog menu which is always nice to know they are doing something extra for the dogs. Our food and drink was good.

Trendy Dinner location

We dined here at the end of April 2019. The outside seating is first come first serve, so if you see a table grab it with your fur baby. The food was good, especially their conique potatoes, which was my first time having them. The staff was nice and brought out a water bowl for our dog. There are a number of horse drawn carriage rides that go by here so if your dog doesn't like horses you may want to avoid this area. Overall I would go back again.

Art Park

We went here at the end of April 2019. It is a unique park to take your dog to. It was very interesting to see all the different sculptures. We went shortly after it had rained so it was a little muddy. It was still a nice exercising activity to do while visiting St. Louis with our dog.

The Dogs lunch stop

We had lunch here at the end of April 2019. The staff was very nice and the food was very good. They even had a special dog menu to order a treat for your dog. I would definitely recommend the boat house to those looking to go somewhere fun to eat with your dog on there nice patio over looking the lake.

Start your A.M. w/ coffee

We were here at the end of April 2019. They have two small tables to sit at outside. Great for a quick coffee & muffin for breakfast. It would be nice if they had a few more options for breakfast food but overall it was a nice place to stop at with our dog while in town.

Where you stay w/ your dog

We stayed here two nights at the end of April 2019, with our dog. We had a room with an Arch view and it was well worth it, it was so beautiful. The room was very spacious and there was a dog bed & bowl waiting for us as soon as we checked in. It was so nice having a mini fridge in our room to store our dog's wet food. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here to other pet parents.

Breakfast on a rainy morning

We got breakfast one morning in early March 2019 when visiting Savannah. We were able to take our dog right into the coffee bar. They had very yummy coffee, muffins and cinnamon rolls to get us going in the morning.

A must see!

We visited here in the beginning of March 2019.
This Estate is very breathe taking and beautiful. A must see for everyone. We went to see the house and my husband and I did a fur baby swap to see it. We knew we didn’t want to leave our dog in the kennels they provide no matter how nice they are or not. I went in first and my husband went in to view the house one hour after me. It was great to take our dog to these amazing naturous grounds. If you do take turns seeing the house I would say it takes at least an hour to hour and a half to walk through it. After we viewed the house we then went to Antler village located on the Biltmore grounds. Antler village has many shops and restaurants. We had lunch at the Creamery. They have outside patio seating to sit at with your dog. You have to go inside to order and then they will bring the food to the table when it is ready. There sandwiches and ice cream were delicious. I would highly recommend the Biltmore to anyone with a dog. I would definitely go back even just to walk the grounds and have lunch. Such a beautiful place to enjoy with your fur kids!

A very Grand hotel

This is an amazing and luxurious hotel. We had a great view of the entry to the Biltmore. The staff was very warm and inviting to our dog and gave us a list of dog friendly restaurants and activities. It was so nice to get room service right in our room from the Red Stag restaurant within the hotel. I woke up relaxed and refreshed in the comfy bed. I would recommend staying here to anyone who has a dog and is looking for a top notch place to stay.

Great food

We dined here at the end of February 2019.
The food here was excellent. We sat outside right on the riverfront, with our dog. It was nice to watch the boats going by as we waited for our food.

The hotel from 50 shades of Grey :)

It was a very welcoming and friendly staff at the hotel. Our room was very nice with a balcony and view of the river. I would definitely stay here again with our dog.

Historic Dog walking good time!

We did this tour at the end of February 2019.
This is such a great tour! We booked a private tour because our schedule with traveling didn't work well with there two usually timed tours. Eric was a great tour guide! He is very knowledgeable on Savannah's history. I learned so much while walking the beautiful historic downtown streets. All that we learned was very interesting. Our French bulldog loved looking around and sniffing around on the about 2 1/2 hour tour. Our Frenchie also loved the yummy Oliver and Bentley biscuits that we got complimentary at the end of the tour. I would Highly recommend this tour to anyone with a dog or anyone looking to hear Savannah's great history.

Lunch w/ our Frenchie

We dined here at the end of February 2019.
We had lunch here during the Posh pooch festival. They have a nice shaded patio outback, where we sat, as well as a few tables out front. The waiter we had was nice and brought a bowl of water right away for our French bulldog. The food came out fast and was good.

Great & Unique Sandwich shop

We dined here in February 2019.
We had lunch at this hip and eclectic place. They have a nice covered patio with fans blowing out back, where you can sit with your dog. They didn't bring water for our dog because you order your food at the counter but that's okay because I always carry water with me for our dog anyway. The food is excellent. Especially the pulled pork with there unique one of a kind BBQ sauce. I would definitely recommend this to those with dogs as a great place to eat.

Dinner

We dined here in February 2019. They have a small patio area that allows dogs. Call ahead if you think it will be busy. The food is very good. Our waiter was nice and brought our french bulldog a bowl of water.

Pit stop stay

We stayed at this hotel for one night, Thursday 2/21/19-2/22/19.
The hotel seemed updated and modern. The staff was accommodating with finding us a dog friendly room with a king bed. We did not have a reservation because this was a stop on the way to Florida. The pillows weren't that great. The continental breakfast was so convenient with lots of options. Overall I would recommend this hotel because of its modern updates and it being a good spot to rest, that allows dogs, on the drive south.

Okay Stay

We stayed here while visiting family in Eagle River over the 4th of July in 2017. The room was nice and convenient that we could have our dog. There was a breakfast that was included that was just okay but nice to have. I didn't like that the steps at the side entrance closest to our room smelled like smoke due to the smoking area being right outside that door. Otherwise was a good place to stay with our dog.

Just a note to anyone looking to stay here, you must call them to book. You can't book online because only certain rooms are dog friendly. We made the mistake of booking online one year and having to cancel last minute, but then called for the following year and got a pet friendly room.
