Clean and comfortable rooms
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Marion Northeast an IHG HotelWe stayed here overnight on our 19 hour road trip. This was the first of 4 hotels and the nicest by far. The staff was great, our room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Okay stay for one night
Best Western Plus Dalton InnWe stayed at another La Quinta on this trip and this one was lacking in comparison. The room was small, felt like there was residue on most items, and the hallways were loud. Breakfast was okay and there was a nice grass area. The outside though had construction so the parking situation was horrible, and the pool was drained. Good for a single night stay on a long trip.

Some good, some not
Comfort Suites Mount VernonThere were some good and bad things about this hotel. If you're pulling a trailer of any sort you have to park in the gravel lot which means if you've got bags or anything to bring in you're taking many trips through the gravel and not able to use the suitcase dolly. The people at the front desk though and buffet were really nice. Food was great, and loved that they had a fenced in dog area. Our room was a little dated and had some cosmetic flaws like a rip in the sofa. For us it was a great final stop on our way back home. I just wish there was a path or way to help people get their luggage if you have a trailer.
