clean but our pup was on alert most of the night
La Quinta by Wyndham Knoxville North I-75We are still not sure exactly what was going on, but our dog was hearing noises and would not settle for a long time, which meant we were not able to really sleep either. There was a banging above us and possibly in the hallway and my husband said he saw the desk person cleaning. Not sure what was going on, but we didn't have this problem at the other hotel. We had the same problem as Christine with climate control and it still being a bit humid and not cool enough in the room. Compared to the other LaQuinta we stayed in (Macon, GA), this one did not have nearly as nice of a breakfast in terms of options. They had tiny foam cups for coffee. It was almost like they had run out of things (it was a Saturday). Considering it was a last minute stop, it wasn't horrible.

Good experience, helpful staff
La Quinta by Wyndham Macon WestIt was quiet and clean. The outdoor area needed some poop cleanup due to some irresponsible owners (there were bags just feet away from the poop). The breakfast was even decent. The only thing that could be improved is a nice place to walk around from the hotel. There are no sidewalks so we couldn't do that. The staff was really great when our car needed repairs and we had to stay until the very last minute while it was being fixed. Recommend.

Large space, friendly people and pups
BarklandWe had a good experience on our visit. This is a much larger dog run than I am used to in Ohio so keep that in mind if your dog doesn't recall easily. There were some shade areas which was nice and they did have water available for people and pets. They don't seem to have many regular parks in this area that allow dogs so it was nice that we could take advantage of this and let our dog get some energy out.

Great experience and food
Big Bear Brewing CompanyWe brought two pups with us and they had water and treats available for them. The outdoor space is very nice. Our food was great and the service was really good. Another benefit was that they have a gluten-free menu and are careful about cross-contamination which was really helpful for my Celiac kid. It was a win-win for our family. Recommend!
