Decent stay
Best Western Plus Shamrock Inn & SuitesWe needed to have a mini fridge in our room, and that’s hard to find in Shamrock. Shamrock was the best place midway along our trip, so we settled on Best Western. The place is a little tired looking, but they had a pretty decent breakfast, and they had something of a yard for the dog to relieve herself in. So, overall, pretty decent.

Comfort Inn & Suites Christiansburg I-81Pretty dark and quiet. Fido had an area for relief. Property is tired, but reasonably OK. Decent breakfast.

Best Western Alamosa InnBathroom faucet was broken, and shower dispensers were empty. Management advised, but no joy. But nice property otherwise, including mown grassy dog area.

Best Western Plus Night Watchman Inn & SuitesOK place. Nice breakfast. Thin walls = noisy neighbors and truck and train noise overnight. No dog bags at dispenser.

Okay, but...
Best Western Plus York Hotel & Conference CenterPretty good except for all the extra dog poop all over the grass areas, pet-assigned and not. Shame on those pet owners, and shame on BW for allowing it to remain there.

Super 8 by Wyndham Wheeling/Saint Clairsville OH AreaReasonable amount of grassy area and quiet local streets out the back door. Otherwise, meh.
