Red Roof Inn GallupThe room itself was great however there’s not actually a designated pet area or any grass for them to go potty. There’s quite a bit of litter and I cleaned poop where my pup was able to use. You can hear the people above you pretty loud so you might want to take the second floor so they don’t disturb your sleep like they did ours. BUT The room it was really clean and well maintained with a really comfortable bed!

Works in a pinch but choose somewhere else
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites ClintonI chose this hotel for the price and proximity when it was time to take a break for the night driving. The hotel is surrounded by cats that someone is feeding. Close to all of the outdoor lights and including the lighting in the parking lot itself were out. At first after I booked our room and then got there I couldn’t tell if the place was even open. The front desk people were not helpful in explaining where my room was to drive there around the back or which door to use to get there, then the back doors to enter the hotel from
The outside didn’t even lock so anyone can enter the hotel as a non guest. Not cool. The bed was really old and squeaky, not comfortable. The room itself was clean and the hotel does have Guest laundry units available.
