Dogs allowed
Jefferson Inn DandridgeThey may be allowed but not particularly welcomed. When checking in I was informed that there were no pet rooms on first floor & no elevator. If we hadn’t been so exhausted we would have gone elsewhere. There is no designated pet area. There is a four foot strip of grass/weeds between the parking lot curb & fence. Otherwise you need to walk along the street to vacant lots.
The outside of the hotel looked recently painted but inside the hall & stair carpet was dirty. Smoking & nonsmoking rooms were across the hall from each other so the hall reeked of smoke. The room was clean but spare. The bathroom counter had been updated.
Nice staff
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western JacksonStaff was very friendly & helpful. It’s an older hotel that has been updated. The room was clean & best of all it had a Keurig coffee maker. The rooms are outside entrances which I find convenient for my dog. The downside to this hotel is there is no place on the property to walk a dog. You must walk along a busy street to get to some empty lots behind the hotel.
Nice & modern
Best Western Plus Shamrock Inn & SuitesHotel seemed very new. Had a nice modern look and was spotless. Front desk person was friendly & helpful. The room was quite large. There was a small grassy area with a pooch pot & bags. We did walk around a side street that wasn’t busy. The only problem is there are no pet rooms on the first floor but there is an elevator
Just OK
La Quinta by Wyndham Santa RosaSmall designated area to walk my dog although there was a pooch pot. Staff were quite friendly. The room was large but not well laid out.
