If I could give a zero I would
La Quinta Inn Lexington/Horse ParkThe rooms were stinky and dirty as was the parking lot. I was really tired and I didn’t have the energy to cancel and search for another room, so I figured I would tough it out for one night. BIG MISTAKE The other guests (think multiple unrelated groups ) were up all night. There was was some guy screaming at his girlfriend, loud talkers, people milling around in the hallway, slamming doors, smoking in the building and of course barking dogs. This noise went on until 4:30am. Then started up again promptly at 6:00am. What little sleep I got was populated by nightmares of people breaking into my room. In the time of COVID-19 I consider this to be a dangerous place to stay. Save yourself! You are better off sleeping in your car.

Room was surprisingly nice
La Quinta by Wyndham Macon WestThe room was surprisingly nice for a pet friendly hotel. Very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful and they handed out free breakfast bags.
