Lovely hotel
Riverside InnAlthough my husband and I (with our husky) needed a brief stay to break up a long drive, we wanted a place we could enjoy. Riverside Inn had wonderful rooms, all that overlooked the river, included breakfast, and had an easy river walk crossing to a dog friendly restaurant (okay food) on the other side of the road. Very comfortable and surprisingly quiet compared to the proximity to the river. Outdoor balcony had chairs and a table for us to eat our breakfast. Definitely would recommend.

Couldn’t be a better spot
McMenamins Old St. Francis SchoolLoved the location in town. Hotel is right across the street from a fenced in field that is primarily a grass field for kids but seems to second as a dog park! The hotel has several dog friendly outdoor areas we could order and eat food, and is only 3 blocks from the river trail. Very cute and eclectic rooms that are quite new (2016). Ended up snowing during our visit that our husky loved!
