Great location, food and hospitality
City Pork Brasserie & BarWe ate here for lunch on a sunny Wednesday. The porch area was perfect for us and our two dachshunds. BLT with amazing bacon! Cubano sandwich was generous and spicy. Our waiter said, ”I’ll bring water for the dogs when I bring the Diet Cokes”. Two thumbs up and a nice tip for the attentive service. Easy to find off I-10 and easy to get on I-12 when we left.

Great location and great for dogs
Best Western Dos RiosWe stayed here on the way to Big Bend National Park and liked it so much booked our return trip back home to Houston. We could back up our SUV to the actual door of our room. Staff very friendly. Met other folk traveling with dogs. Room was enough space. Bathroom was recently updated and very clean. Breakfast had hot eggs and make your own waffles plus cold dishes. The only “con” is the highway noise. Lots of space to walk the dogs.
