Could have been cleaner
Super 8 by Wyndham O'FallonThough we appreciate all pet friendly hotels, we expect a basic standard for cleanliness and our room just didn’t live up to our expectations. The bathroom walls were particularly gross. The woman working at the desk when we checked in was extremely nice and accommodating so I thought how nice this would be but sadly, when we saw the condition of the room, those good feelings got cancelled out. I don’t expect a lot especially when the rates are lower but there’s just no excuse for filth.
Nice
The Inn at MountainviewWe are happy to see they are getting work done since the last time we stayed. Our room was clean and spacious with a new laminate flooring for easy clean up. Bathroom could be nicer but it was clean. It's nice to have a room conveniently located to the fenced in dog area but we wish they would have a spot light on at night because some folks don't pick up their dog poop even though poop bags are provided in the dispenser. Continental breakfast was a bonus plus we had a Keurig in our room with enough pods to get us going before making it to breakfast in the lobby. If you travel with dogs, this is a nice place to stay.
Adequate
Baymont By Wyndham Gainesville I-75We were not surprised that the room was not as clean as it should be especially during a pandemic. We read previous reviews so came prepared with Lysol wipes and went to work wiping everything down as soon as we arrived. The room was smaller than most we’ve stayed in with our pups. We survived but this hotel would definitely not be our first choice next trip to Gainesville, even though we saved money by staying there. I will say, the staff was very respectful and attentive to our needs.
