Peter
We've had many dogs over many years, all rescues and all loving companions. Currently we have one 10lb terrier mix, Ginger. She loves car trips and is happy to fly with us.

Dogs stay free!
La Quinta by Wyndham Birmingham HooverWe liked the non-carpeted floors; an excellent idea for the occasional accident even though our dog is very well behaved.
Only pet friendly hotel in San Angelo (sad)
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham and Conference Center San AngeloWe could bring Fido. But motel is elderly and needs a refresh!
Ginger enjoyed her stay
La Quinta by Wyndham Mt. PleasantThis is a very well looked after La Quinta. Rooms are large and comfortable and cooked breakfast was good. One niggle: La Quinta seems to like overly complex tv systems.
Run down mess of a hotel
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham JacksonCertainly the worst La Quinta we’ve ever stayed in and since they are dog friendly we use them a lot. Possibly one of the very oldest. The carpet reminded me of that we encountered in a foul Soviet era hotel in rural China! No breakfast available even tho advertised (but we wouldn’t have eaten it anyway). TV didn’t work (no great loss). Our dog was fine with all this. Wyndham needs to decommission this dump.
Comfortable bed, nice dog walk outside, marginal breakfast
Sleep Inn StauntonOnly fly in the ointment was a slight smell of Febreze or some other obnoxious chemical intended to cover up smells that, as far as I could tell, were non-existent. Maybe they just spray the dog rooms that way. Please don't! Breakfast was on the light side--but that part of the world has plenty of Hardee's (best sausage biscuits going).
