Great dog area!!!

This hotel was great! The rooms were clean and spacious and they put us on the first floor, making it very easy for us to take our dog out. Their dog run was awesome! Our pup was able to run and catch his frisbee, which was a welcome relief after a long car ride. The two down sides to it were, there was a large panel of the fence that had been removed, so it wasn't completely enclosed... if your dog is a runner, this would be a problem. There was also a large drainage pipe, so our pup got a little muddy during play due to the wetness from the pipe. The breakfast was good and so was the coffee. We would definitely stay here again!

Really nice staff

First let me say that the staff at this Hampton Inn were great, which is why we are giving this 4 bones, rather than 3. Here's the low down: Rooms are well appointed with comfortable bedding and they are clean! Downside... the room we were in was TINY!!! By far, the smallest Hotel room of any where we stayed and the shower was also small, and could've used some updating. I really like that this hotel put us on on the first floor, near an exit, making it really easy to take our dog out. A bummer was that the lock to the exit door was broken, and we weren't able to get out of that exit.

We were referred, by the sweet staff, to use the stairway door; however, that door also stopped working. The breakfast was good; however they ran out of plates early on during breakfast because they didn't receive a deliver the day before. It was a bit confusing, because if the staff knew that they didn't receive their delivery of plates, I would've thought that one of them would've gone to the store to pick some up; instead, we ate our eggs and potatoes out of a bowl. For sure not they end of the world, but a small inconvenience.

Nice but bring a blanket if it's chilly out!

Cute room! Very clean, vinyl floors-perfect for our pup, easy to get to off the interstate. The complimentary breakfast was nothing special...but hey, it's free and the coffee was decent! Bed was in great shape! Towels were not great...more like large rags. The bedding was made for summertime in Texas. It was really light and even with the heater put to 72°, I had to sleep with long johns under my sweats. My husband on the other hand had to ditch his sweats bc he was warm...so to each their own I guess. BEWARE... the walls are paper thin, like we could hear our neighbors arguing and making up 😜!!! I Would definitely stay here again, that said due to the thin thin thin walls, my husband said he wouldn't.😊

Kinda icky...

I will start with the pros: easy access to the interstate, dog friendly (of course), friendly staff, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Cons: stained carpet (I wouldn't walk on it with bare feet it looked so nasty), disgustingly stained arm chair, air conditioning unit was loud and made a creaking sound, the shower head was super janky and most importantly the outside areas for the dogs had burs that get stuck in out dogs paws and there was trash and broken glass all over the outside areas.
