Room/hotel good, not so nice area
La Quinta by Wyndham Santa RosaHotel is fairly new, clean. Remodeling underway, but not a nuisance. Area to walk dogs close to hotel is small. Surrounding area is distressed.
Clean room, good beds
Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa/CatoosaWas packed the one night we stayed, but quiet by bed time. Some grassy areas to walk the dogs, but the larger spaces required crossing streets (not too much traffic). 3rd floor room was clean with good beds.
Just fine with lots of grass
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Terre Haute an IHG HotelOne night stay. Clean room, pretty good beds, lots of grassy areas to walk the dogs. 1st floor. The beagle licked the rug a lot, so there's history there, but nothing I could smell or see. Outdoors at night there is moderate asphalt/oil smell, but it does not get inside.
Good condition & quiet
Baymont by Wyndham TehachapiHotel was in good condition, clean and quiet. Limited area for walking the dogs - just around the property. Everything worked properly - HVAC, TV, shower. 2 miles from cute downtown with a quaint old style restaurant (Kelcy's) and a great German bakery.
It's a suite
Residence Inn by Marriott Santa FeAll the necessaries. Bed was a tad soft. Doggies were comfortable.
All good except window HVAC
Red Roof Inn St Louis - Troy ILA basic room with the necessities. The doggies were happy. Only problem was the window HVAC which, in spite of being switched off, periodically emitted a sound like a big rig's air brakes. I mean loud, at random times, including night time. Only solution was to unplug it.
Doggies were happy
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oklahoma City North an IHG HotelDoggies liked the room. The hotel is located in a busy truck stop area. There was adequate walking area. Beware the scrub area near the hotel, as several times the doggies picked up burrs in their toes. Room was clean, quiet and easy to get in and out the exits with the doggies. FYI, the coffee maker is a K-cup job.
