Easy off and on I-95
Best Western Plus Hardeeville Inn & SuitesRoom was clean, floors are carpeted. Full breakfast! Hotel staff did not inform me of where the dedicated dog walk area was; my first stay I was using a space near the parking lot where the ground was uneven, then I saw someone else in a much nicer spot near the pool, where there were trash cans and bags available. There are not a lot of nice restaurants nearby, mostly fast food. However, there is a very nice dog park in the sports complex in town, just a couple miles back from the highway, so you won't be going far out of your way to give your pups a run before getting on the road.

Dog friendly
Candlewood Suites Rocky Mount an IHG HotelHotel is easy off I95. Desk staff friendly towards my dogs but not overtly which is ok. He had baggies of treats for each dog. Well marked large grassy area near parking lot with trash can and poop bags if needed. Floor in room was not carpeted which is good. Lots of other people there with dogs. Other than being able to hear people in the hallway the room was quiet. There was a two burner stovetop in my suite which was nice to boil water for tea; there was a pot but it took a while to figure out how to turn it on- which was a timer switch on the wall. It would be beneficial to have instructions. Desk attendant gave me a list of restaurants nearby, there were a lot! Best part is there is the Best Friend’s dog park less than three miles from the hotel in a residential area of town-it was large with separate areas for big and small and was grassy. My two benefitted from a good run there before getting back in the car for a long ride! I also went by a couple parks in town that looked nice with walking paths.
