Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden Leashed dogs are welcome inside Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden, a dog-friendly tourist attraction in Pigeon Forge, located one mile from Dollywood. Programs are available daily and include admission to the dolphin, sea lion and parrot shows, guided marine life tour, lagoon-side beach, and bottomless boat ride. Dinosaur World Dinosaur World in Plant City, FL is a dog-friendly attraction featuring over 150 life size dinosaurs in an outdoor museum. Allow Fido to join the family fun as you navigate your way along the dinosaur walk, cross into Deinonychus Island to see the raptors, enter the Skeleton Garden, or venture down Carnivore Boardwalk if you dare. Lake Eola Park Although technically not a dog park, the nearly 1-mile walking path around Lake Eola in downtown Orlando, Florida is very pet-friendly. There are several dog-related events that take place at Lake Eola Parkin Orlando, FL, each year, and almost any time of the day you'll find pet owners taking their four-legged friends for a walk around the lake. Poop bag dispensers are conveniently located on the lake path so that you can clean up after your pet. In addition to the lake path, visitors can also rent swan boats to enjoy with pets up to 5 lbs. There is also an amphitheater where concerts and other events are regularly held, as well as a couple of pet-friendly restaurants next to the lake, which will allow you to dine outdoors with your pooch. Knoebels Amusement Resort Make new memories the old fashioned way with classic roller coasters, kid-friendly rides, swimming, camping, golf and attractions for the whole family! Well-behaved pets are permitted at the dog-friendly Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA, but owners will be responsible for controlling and cleaning up after them. Pets must be leashed or in a carrier at all times. They are not allowed on most of the rides but are welcome to ride the train. Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park Visit the site where St. Augustine began in 1565 with your pooch at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. With more than 15 dog-friendly waterfront acres to explore, you and your pup will find plenty of activities to enjoy. You can visit the planetarium, visit the Timucua Indian village, look out from the 600-foot observation deck, and make friends with the peacocks that roam the property. Rock City Bring your furry best friend to the dog-friendly Rock City in Lookout Mountain, GA, for a mountain adventure. Any leashed pets are welcome to walk the Enchanted Trail or to dine on the terrace at Café 7 with you. There’s even a pet menu! The Enchanted Trail takes you through the 14-acre property where you will see over 400 different species of flora, panoramic views of seven states (on clear days), a waterfall, and more. Trees of Mystery and SkyTrail Trees of Mystery in Klamath, CA, is a fun, dog-friendly tourist stop with a giant Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statue, gift shop, Native American Museum, and trails through the redwoods with redwood "oddities and examples of growing patterns." They also have a SkyTrail - a sky tram that takes you and Fido up through the redwoods to a lookout with views of the ocean from the top. Manitou Cliff Dwellings The Manitou Cliff Dwellings is a pet-friendly attraction in Manitou Springs, CO. Discover what it was like to live in the Western United States 800 to 1,000 years ago in the 40-room dwellings built by the Anasazi people. Leashed dogs are also welcome inside the Anasazi Museum located within the Pueblo. The site is open daily but hours vary by season. Zilker Botanical Garden Dog-friendly Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin, TX, is packed with rare and unusual plants, and the campus includes various themed areas you'll love to explore with your leashed pet. This garden is a unique collaboration between the City of Austin Parks & Recreation Department (PARD) and the Austin Area Garden Council (AAGC). Kentucky Horse Park The Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington is the state's largest state-owned tourist attraction. The park is dedicated to sharing Kentucky’s love of horses with the world, and hosts nearly one million visitors and 19,000 competition horses in 200 special events and horse shows annually. It's a working horse farm, educational theme park, equine competition facility, and equine office park all in one. Dogs are allowed to accompany their owners on the park's outdoor grounds as long as they are leashed or confined to an approved kennel. If carried or confined to a wheeled kennel, pets are allowed to go into the gift shop, but they may not go inside restaurants or the Alltech Arena. Dog-friendly outdoor seating is available at the restaurants. Pets are allowed in the museum lobby but not in the museum exhibits, so visitors will need to take turns staying with their pets outside of these areas. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in vehicles, roam without a leash, or tied-out on the grounds. See Details
Truckee River Rafting Truckee River Rafting in Tahoe City, CA, offers dog-friendly, self-guided rafting trips along a peaceful 5-mile stretch of the Truckee River for you and your pup. The scenic rafting trips are appropriate for nearly all ages and athletic abilities. The rafting trip takes 2-4 hours to complete. Telluride Gondola Telluride Gondola in Telluride, CO is dog friendly! Leashed pets are allowed in select cabins of the gondola between Telluride and Mountain Village. Look for the sticker that designates a pet-friendly cabin on the window. All the electricity used to operate the Gondola is provided by wind and solar power. Garvan Woodland Gardens Just as the name indicates, you'll find 210-acres of woodland gardens at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, AR. You can rent a golf cart for a guided tour for a nominal fee, or you and your furry friend can walk along the many paths at your leisure, too. Take a picnic lunch or dine at Chipmunk Cafe's dog-friendly outdoor patio. Garvan Woodland Gardens has a charming pet fountain that looks like a natural spring coming out of the rock. There is an admission fee for humans and dogs. Dogs are not permitted between November 19 and December 31. See Details

San Antonio River Walk Leashed dogs are welcome on the pet-friendly San Antonio River Walk, a public park below street level with parallel sidewalks that's lined with restaurants, shops, hotels and other attractions. Many of the outdoor restaurants and shops welcome dogs on their patios while you dine. Please call ahead to check if the specific business you wish to visit allows dogs, and please remember to clean up after your pet. The River Walk is open 24 hours a day, year-round. See Details
Sea Turtle, Inc. Sea Turtle Inc. in South Padre Island, TX, is a dog-friendly, nonprofit rescue center that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured sea turtles. Dogs and cats are allowed in all public areas, both indoor and outdoor, as long as they are leashed or crated. Visitors can sit in on a Turtle Talk, or take a self-guided tour of the outdoor facility. Sea Turtle Inc. is open year round, however, when temperatures drop below 55 degrees, outdoor tanks are covered and turtle viewing is limited. This popular destination is a great first stop when you’re headed to the quaint Danish themed town of Solvang, the Chumash Casino, or Santa Ynez Valley wineries.
